Allied Van Lines: The Best of Mount. Pearl Moving Companies
Mount Pearl is the second-largest city in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, and it’s part of the St. John’s metropolitan area. Mount Pearl can be found on the eastern side of the Avalon Peninsula on the island of Newfoundland. It’s situated southwest of St. John’s. The city is known as a business-friendly area with a welcoming and thriving community.
Mount Pearl is considered one of Canada’s most beautiful cities, and with more than 60 parks and more than 70 kilometres of forested walking trails, it's not hard to see why. According to the city website, Mount Pearl is considered a “city within a park.”
The history of Mount Pearl dates back to 1829 when Commander James Pearl and his wife were given 4 square kilometres of land as a reward for his 27 years of service in the Royal Navy. Today, there were 24,284 residents living in Mount Pearl as of the 2011 Canadian Census.
